Jesus is our Superhero.  He is all powerful

BIBLE:  The study of God’s  promises and how they relate to us today.

READNG:  Small group leveled learning of phonics, sight words, comprehension, and independent reading.  We want to create an environment that supports a love for reading and exploring the written page.

My spiritual journey started as a child. I attended, was baptized and confirmed at a Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, New York. At the age of thirteen I accepted Jesus as my personal savior and started on the spiritual growth journey. The road wasn’t always easy, but the Lord was my strength.

At the end of High School my mother passed away from cancer, and God’s plan for me was made clear. I attended Houghton College in Houghton, New York. My major was Christian education and elementary education, because I loved working with children and wanted to share Christ with them at early age. I then journeyed to Chicago to work and study at Moody Bible instituted in Chicago for a year. I then moved to California with a friend to attend BIOLA University in La Mirada.

I’ve been teaching Christian Education for over forty-two years now. I’ve been blessed to work at Trinity for 29 years. I taught 4th grade for 25 years and 1st grade for the past 4 years. I feel so honored to be used by the Lord at Trinity.

My husband and have three grown children and two grandsons. We love traveling, going to see our grandson play soccer and going to the theater.

My favorite Scripture is Ephesian 5:32 – “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave you.”
